AI Fantasy Map Generator is an independent map-making tool at aifantasymapgenerator.com, operated by an individual under the AI Fantasy Map Generator brand. The brand name does not identify an incorporated company. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. Dungeons & Dragons and D&D are trademarks of their respective owners. Compatibility descriptions do not imply official approval.

Free release: Checkout is disabled. We do not accept purchases or offer commercial licences in this release. Any displayed paid plans describe planned offerings, not an available purchase. Pages explicitly labelled as a sample preview load fixed images rather than new AI results.

Free map editing

You may use the browser editor to add grids, place names, a compass and a scale bar to images you have permission to use. Uploaded editor images stay in your browser. You are responsible for checking scale, labels and gameplay suitability. Illustrated maps are not guaranteed to align with a tactical grid.

Accounts and credits

Guest sessions receive one credit. A new account receives two signup credits plus its unused guest credit: three credits if the guest credit was not used, or two if it was. Signing into an existing account does not grant another signup bonus. Eligible signed-in accounts receive a monthly top-up to two free credits, not two additional credits. Anti-abuse limits and a shared daily free-generation limit may restrict access even when you have credits. A standard map costs one credit; a print-resolution generation costs two. This is higher-resolution generation, not an upscale of an existing image. Failed requests return credits; content-filter blocks consume credits. Creating accounts to evade limits is prohibited.

Free credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money. Paid subscriptions and credit packs are unavailable in this release. Prices, capped allowances, renewal rules, merchant details and refund terms will be displayed before checkout is enabled.

Content and licensing

You retain rights to your inputs. Do not upload or request content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights. No official D&D logos are provided. Do not submit illegal content, sexual content involving minors, harassment, graphic violence or impersonation, or attempt to bypass safety checks.

We process and store generation prompts and results to provide generation and account history, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI results may contain mistakes and may resemble other outputs; neither exclusivity nor copyright protection is guaranteed. Commercial licensing is not offered in this release. Any future commercial-use offering is subject to the selected model provider’s verified terms and third-party rights.

Availability and responsibility

You must be at least 13, or the minimum age required locally; minors need parental permission. Protect your sign-in credentials. We may restrict abusive accounts. The service is provided as available; review maps before publication or play. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
